COVID-19: Update (15/06/2020)

Dear Patients,

As we look forward to seeing you again at our practice, we would like to update you on what to expect upon arrival for your appointment.

As a continuation to our previous message of the 4th June, we would kindly ask that you arrive ‘on time’ for any pre-arranged appointment. Any late arrivals will be asked to re-book for the next available appointment due to the increased Infection Prevention Controls measures we are taking within our practice to ensure the safety of our patients and members of staff.

Before being able to book an appointment, you will be asked to complete an updated version of the medical history questionnaire online, once received you will be offered an appropriate time slot.

Upon arrival to the practice, we will ask that you call reception on 020 7924 4224 or message on 07340484315 to inform reception you are outside. Only patients with a prearranged appointment will be permitted in onto the practice premises. Parents, Guardians, and any other chaperones will be asked to wait outside where safe to do so.

Please do not bring any additional items with you such as coats, and bags.

You will be expected to come wearing either a mask or face covering, and when called on your mobile number upon entering the practice you will be asked to disinfect your hands using provided hand gel.

Your temperature will be taken, and if it reads 37.8° or above, you will be asked to rebook your appointment for no less than 14 days-time.

You will be guided to the clinic where your visit will take place, and your clinician will ask you to wash your hands, and also rinse your mouth with mouthwash for 20 seconds before treatment will commence.

At the end of your treatment, you will be asked to put on your chosen face covering, and you will be guided to the exit by one of the team.

To book your follow up appointment, we ask that you either call our Reception Team on 020 7924 4224 or email reception@orthowise.co.uk.

Some of you may be expecting to have certain procedures carried out that may have been booked before lockdown. These may continue to be further delayed for some time. Some procedures will only be able to be carried out on particular days or times.

But with evolving guidance as we ease out of lockdown we will endeavour to do all we can to get your treatment back on course!

Thank you all in advance for your patience and understanding with the new protocols we have in place to keep every-one safe during this time 😊

The Management Team
